Denny Fincke is a veteran Animation Artist whose credits include Star Trek: Lower Decks, Daria, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003, TMNT Fast Forward, Venture Bros., Blaze and the Monster Machines, Teenage Euthanasia, Deadly Class, Midnight Gospel, Inside Job, Kiff, Digman, and the Paloni Show.
He grew up in Rochester NY and was fascinated by comics and animation at a very young age.
He spent the 1970s scouring the spinner racks at various pharmacies for his favorite titles, his favorite being Justice League of America.
He attended Hamilton College and briefly flirted with pre-med courses and being a “serious” person. It didn’t work and after graduation, he moved to New York City with the idea of being a DC or Marvel Comic artist.
After one DC cover and five interior pages for Valiant, he wandered into the NYC animation community where performed various duties including storyboards, character layout, animation, prop design but is best known for being a “realistic” Background Designer.
He now lives north of NYC with his wife and two cats (who deserve a comic strip of their own).
